Converse: One Star Hotel

Bad reviews are good reviews.

We collaborated with Converse to launch their latest campaign and unique pop-up experience.

As they looked to relaunch the One Star kicks, Converse asked us to launch their One Star Hotel pop-up experience: a fake hotel in the heart of fashionista Shoreditch. No beds available and no reservations required.

We launched with the line-up film, featuring streetwear influencer Gully Guy Leo. The film was shared by Tyler The Creator and within 48 hours it reached over 1 million views.

 The outdoor campaign headlined with one-star customer reviews that teased the event: ‘Loud Music. All. Night. Long.’, ‘The staff had attitude’ and ‘The room was a shoebox’. It was plastered over the whole of East London, making the event unmissable,
